From the April Issue of Warmblood News
Lisa Paulson of International Performance Stallions Inc. writes: Our Stallion Showcase featured no less than four studbook stallions, with ASPR stallions Benbeya Enignma and Coeur D'Avion, and AWR stallions Freestyle and Raffaello (pictured right) amongst others. AWR stallion Cotopaxi (pictured left) was competing in Spruce Meadows and was represented at the Stallion Showcase as well.
Sarah Wolfe reports: Last November my three-year-old filly, Kestrona’s Majesty (pictured right and lower left) was inspected in DeLeon Springs, Florida and scored a First Premium. I am proud to tell you that in her very first dressage show, she placed second and third, and in her second show, she placed first and second. At both shows we performed the Intro Tests A and B. She is performing so well and loves the show ring. She is a natural! Kestrona's Majesty is truly my dream horse and I love her with all my heart.
Patti Brantly writes: Claim to Fame (pictured right) is now home after another great winter show season in the south! He is ridden exclusively now by his 56-year-old amateur owner. They competed at Atlanta, Wellington, HITS/Ocala, Jacksonville and the Gulfport Series held in Pensacola. "My goal this winter was to go many places instead of staying at one show to try to win a circuit championship. I wanted to show off what a good sport Claim to Fame is with his "older amateur" owner and how he takes care of me! "Take care of me" he did!!! My highlight was winning all over fences classes AND the Hunter Classic the final day of both Jacksonville and again, Pensacola!! What a thrill to do on an eight-year-old stallion I bred, raised, and who lives at home with me!! Claim to Fame is staying closer to home for breeding season and anxiously awaiting his 2006 foals!!
Kate and Gretchen Syburg are proud to report their yearlings, In Perspective (pictured left) and India, both by Ironman, attended their very first show at Sporting Horses Show complex in Roscoe Illinois. In Perspective won the yearling Hunter Breeding and India was second.
